My career has provided me wonderful opportunities to work in all different types of businesses. I have been in a startup, small business, agency, in-house marketing department for a large business and now I work freelance. I am certified in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Bing Ads. MARRIOTT SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
I attended the Marriott School of Management at BYU where I majored in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing. I minored in Visual Arts, taking Graphic Design Classes. I enjoyed the Marriott School, particularly the on hands approach – running projects directly with local businesses. I left the school with a great education and a 3.8 GPA.
During college I worked at Student Genus. SG was a web startup to help graduating students better show off their skill set to potential employers. Unfortunately, Student Genius is not still around. But, I gained experience working in a variety of roles simultaneously. I learned how to really stretch a marketing budget and how a startup should and shouldn’t run.
Leadgenix (acquired by Big Leap) was a marketing agency where I worked with a variety of clients, ranging from from a small carpet cleaning business service to a national chain with 250 locations. I was the business contact and strategist and developed the digital marketing strategy (SEO, Social Media, PPC, Content, etc.) for each client.
I worked as an inhouse digital strategist for the Treehouse Internet Group, a department within Basement Systems, Inc. I managed and worked directly on literally hundreds of websites including national brands. My job allowed me to work in SEO, PPC, Social Media, A/B Testing, UX, Design, Content, Backlink Cleanups, Local Citation Optimization…
MACK MEDIA GROUP
I was the VP of Marketing, where I developed & managed all client & company marketing strategy. Over my three years at Mack Media there was consistent annual growth. I Led successful marketing campaigns for dozens of clients in diverse industries, Creating & managing marketing campaigns involving search engine optimization, social media marketing (multiple platforms), Google Ads, Bing Ads, Inbound marketing, Website Design, User Experience Analysis, Email Marketing, and Video Advertising.

I have returned to school to pursue a PhD in Business Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. My current research interests are in the general area of Sustainability as well as Impact Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
